Legal Technician

Summary of position: Our ideal Legal Technician is a professional who performs accurately and efficiently the analysis of information, and transcription of our clients’ cases for their processes.

As a remote position, communication resources and tools are of vital importance, our candidate must have ease of expression, a high-speed Internet connection, and experience in the use of email, live chat (Skype, WhatsApp, etc. ) and also text and phone messaging.

The position is subject to a trial period of three months, upon successful completion of the trial period, the successful candidate will have a renewal of their contract with the company and a renegotiation of their compensation could take place.

The ideal candidate has:

Excellent communication and computer skills, highly detail oriented, organized and responsible with a genuine ability to detect and correct errors and apply effective solutions, as well as positively accepting any comments about their performance to improve their achievements time and time again

Legal Technician is expected to adapt to changes, contribute to improving the overall experience and comply with the resolution of the problems that are delegated to them, with good judgment and a sense.

Qualifications:

  • Very detail oriented.

  • Excellent composition.

  • Excellent level of the Spanish language (especially written) Imperative.

  • Minimum a high school diploma – Required.

  • Having an academic or post-secondary education level (technical or university) is not required, however, a law degree, diploma or related career will be considered.

  • Ability to work at a pace adapted to likely tight production deadlines.

  • Ability to conduct research and compile information from the internet.

  • Ability to work with minimal or without supervision, prioritize and multitask efficiently in a deadline environment.

  • Ability to work independently, but in a team environment.

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Acrobat and Windows software.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience working under pressure and sometimes under high pressure.

  • Ability to accept and apply constructive comments.

  • Service orientation.

  • An “I can do it” attitude.

  • Passion for progress and self-improvement, own and for others.

  • European citizenship and / or Canadian / US citizenship or visa will be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather information from the cases and analyze it.

  • Carry out the necessary research to understand the problems raised by the clients in their cases.

  • Add and correct data or entries as necessary.

  • Review, control and verification of the information provided in each case. (VERY LOW ERROR TOLERANCE).

  • Maintain organized and filed the electronic documentation of the client.

  • Perform other tasks and projects assigned.

  • Identify and prioritize situations of particular cases.

  • Follow-up of cases when necessary.

  • Follow procedures in accordance with standard operations.

  • Maintain a positive work environment that strengthens the team.
