Pension alternatives in Colombia

We invite you to participate in these informative talks on the existing pension alternatives in Colombia, as a complement to the pension system in Canada to facilitate decision-making on the family economic plan. These will be held by videoconference and the topics that we will mention in this article.

Talk #1: Wednesday, March 16 – 7:30 p.m. MST
Talk #2: Wednesday, March 23 – 7:30 p.m. MST
Talk #3: Wednesday, March 30 – 7:30 p.m. MST
This is aimed at the NOT active, that is, those who do NOT make pension contributions in Colombia. Especially women who are close to turning 47 years old and men close to turning 52 years old.
The topics to be discussed will be:
– Who has the right to retire in Colombia?
– Private and public pension system.
– Requirements to retire in Colombia in each of the systems.
– What about the contributions made in Colombia?
– Recommendations on new contributions.
– Return of contributions.
– Detailed analysis proposal by family.
It is aimed at those who are active contributing to a pension in Colombia.
These talks are informative and free. To register and be able to participate, send an email to jgarzon@shaw.ca. Then, the link will be sent to your email by zoom (videoconference) to connect to the talks.
From Colombia they will be accompanied by Luis Eduardo Pedraza, who is an expert on the subject of pensions.
