This program is designed so that Canadian employers from the provinces: New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, can hire qualified candidates and they can settle in Canada with permanent resident status.
Currently, there are 3 programs and each one has the general requirements that we will share with you below:
Atlantic International Graduate Program
To have lived in an Atlantic province for at least 16 months in the 2 years prior to obtaining your degree, diploma, or credential.
– To meet educational requirements:
- Have a 2-year degree.
- It does not apply to language courses.
- Among other conditions…
– To demonstrate the command of the English or French language, through a certified test.
– To prove the funds required for your support and that of your family upon arrival in Canada. (Does not apply if you already live in Canada)
– To get a job offer.
Good news! This program does not require work experience. So, it is ideal for recent graduates, as long as they meet the other educational requirements
Atlantic High-skilled Program
– You must have worked at least 1,560 hours in a job classified with skill type 0, A or B of the National Occupational Classification (NOC).
– You must have a high school or post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree from a recognized institution or a foreign diploma, equivalent to a Canadian credential.
– To demonstrate the command of the English or French language, through a certified test.
– To prove the funds required for your support and that of your family upon arrival in Canada. (Does not apply if you already live in Canada)
– To get a job offer.
Atlantic Intermediate-skilled Program
– You must have worked at least 1,560 hours in a job classified with skill type C of the National Occupational Classification (NOC) or have work experience as a graduate nurse or graduate psychiatric nurse, licensed practical nurse, among others.
– You must have a high school or post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree from a recognized institution or a foreign diploma, equivalent to a Canadian credential
– To demonstrate the command of the English or French language, through a certified test.
– To prove the funds required for your support and that of your family upon arrival in Canada. (Does not apply if you already live in Canada)
– To get a job offer.
