Refuge in Canada

Regufe in Canada

In accordance with the Geneva Convention relating to the Status of Refugees, a refugee is a person who;

“…due to a well-founded fear of being persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group, or political opinion, is outside his or her country of origin and cannot or, because of said fears, does not want to avail himself or herself to the protection of his/her country; or that lacking nationality and being, as a result of such events, outside the country of his/her previous habitual residence, cannot or, because of said fears, does not want to return to it”.

If you consider that you or any member of your family fits within the definition quoted above, then you could have a potential case of Refuge.
