Characteristics and requirements

  • Temporary Worker (including Caregiver).
    • It has a start an end date, fixed duration.
      • Clear and defined itinerary.
    • Visa has a defined intention.
      • Working!
    • Demonstrate sufficient funds for travel and stay.
      • Letter of financial support.
      • Employment contract.
      • Any other evidence of financial solvency.
    • Have an employment contract and a positive LMIA, if applicable.
    • Pass emigration medical exams.
    • Generally must have language proficiency.

  • Temporary workers under the International Experience programs; Working Holiday, Young Professionals and International Co-op (Internship)
    • Citizens of Australia, Austria, Belgium, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hong Kong, England, Ireland, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan, Ukraine, and Slovakia.
    • Not older than 35 years old and according to some countries 30 years old.
    • Meet certain additional criteria depending on the program.
