Position Summary:

Our Bilingual Translator English/Spanish position involves to performs accurately and efficiently make Spanish/English/Spanish documents and declarations translations. This is an exciting opportunity for professional Spanish/English Translators! This role is work from home in Latin America.

The position is subject to a three-month initial contract probationary period. Upon successful completion of the probationary period, the successful candidate’s contract will become permanent or even extended with have access to other firm’s benefits.

About the candidate:

The ideal candidate will be primary focus of the translation, review and edit translated content for accuracy and consistency as well as for any typographical, lexical and grammatical errors.

The translator may be asked to assist in such tasks as content rewrites or development.

The role is really a blend of internal translation and revision. Communication.

It is required computer skills, strongly detail oriented, organized, and responsible with a genuine ability to detect and correct its own errors and accept positively any feedback in order to improve his performance over and over.

Our Bilingual Translator English/Spanish are expected to adapt to changes, contribute to improving the overall experience, and follow through on resolving process’ issues with good judgment and a sense of urgency.

As a remote position, telecommunications resources and tools are critically important, a computer in good shape and high-speed internet connection are mandatory.

  • Highly detail oriented; review, control and verification of the information provided with written documentation generated; forms, testimonials, translations, etc. is extremely demanded (VERY LOW ERROR TOLERANCE).

  • High sense of confidentiality and handling of sensitive information

  • Good level of the English language (Reading and Writing) Imperative.

  • Good level of the Spanish language (Expression, Comprehension, Reading and Writing), Imperative.

  • Knowledge of other foreign language is an asset.

  • Minimum academic level: High School Diploma – Required.

  • Having an academic or post-secondary education level (technical or university) is an asset.

  • Ability to research and compile information on the internet.

  • Ability to work with minimal or unsupervised supervision, prioritize and multitask efficiently.

  • Ability to work independently, but in a virtual team environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to accept and apply constructive comments.

  • Oriented to excellence in the service it provides.

  • An “I can do it” attitude.

  • Passion for progress and personal improvement, own and others.

  • European citizenship and/or Canadian and/or US visa or citizenship are assets.


  • Accurately and professionally translate, review and edit translated content of documents and/or declarations English/Spanish/English by;

    • Conduct review for all translated content to revise, edit and proofread content to ensure:

    • Coherence, flow and conciseness

    • correctness of grammar, punctuation, and spelling

    • consistency of tone/voice, grammar, pagination, layout and design

    • adherence to departmental defined standards and style guides.

    • adherence to the company’s standards and requirements.

  • Provide input on such things as names, business names or other special or particular data.

  • Assist with other production activities as required.

  • Work with the Translation Leads, Translation Team.

  • Attend meetings on procedures and other work-related subjects.

  • Participate in special projects and assignments, as required.

  • Meet qualitative and quantitative targets.

  • Transcribe, add and correct data or entries as directed or necessary.

  • Follow-up of cases when necessary.

  • Adding and correcting entries as needed.

  • Organizes and file electronic customer’s documentation.

Physical Demands: It is regularly required to sit, talk and hear frequently; use hands and fingers to type, write; reach with hands and arms for tasks such as keyboarding, opening filing cabinets, and some light lifting as necessary to function in an office environment.

Regular Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:30 pm (Calgary, Canadian Mountains – Time) Open to work some extra time.

Compensation will be negotiated in the interview.
